Last night on Fringe, Walter said something that made me laugh more than usual.
He was stranded on Interstate 89 in New Hampshire, which runs from Concord through Lebanon into Vermont. Walter tells Peter and Olivia he was going to find an old test subject who lives “just up the road.”
“Just up the road” turns out to be in Washington, Vermont, which is at least an hour away. I choose to put it down to Walter’s talent for understatement, rather than a lack of knowledge of geography on the writers’ part.
